A small professional staff carries out the daily operations of Utah Dispute Resolution and coordinates a large group of volunteers who provide mediation services. UDR's staff members include:
Nancy McGahey, Excecutive Director
Nancy McGahey is the Executive Director for Utah Dispute Resolution. She received her initial mediation training in New Mexico in 1988. Since that time, she has mediated disputes in a variety of contexts, including family, divorce, co-parenting, relationship, victim-offender, workplace, small claims, and civil matters. Nancy is listed on the court-annexed ADR Roster and mediates for the Co-Parenting Mediation Program. She is a member of the Association for Conflict Resolution and the Utah Council for Conflict Resolution. Nancy holds two Masters degrees in interpersonal communication and training from the University of New Mexico, and completed a post-graduate certificate from the University of Utah in Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Anne Hart, Case Manager
As Case Manager, Anne conducts intake for family and community mediations, and schedules mediations. Anne graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.A. in Speech Communication and Public Relations. She later completed the Post Graduate Certificate Program in Conflict Resolution through the University of Utah. Anne's prior work experience includes inventory processing for Backcountry.com and managing customer service for Mountain Mamas. She also coordinated a youth leadership program in Park City and continues to teach skiing at Brighton Resort.
Jennifer Frahm, Case Manager
Jennifer Gardner Frahm serves as a case manager for UDR's Family, Community, and Court Mediation programs. She believes in the power of education to transform both self and community. She has worked as an English instructor, public school mentor, tutor, and strategic planning coordinator. Jennifer holds BA and MA degrees in European and Russian Studies from Yale University. In 2019, she earned a Graduate Certificate in Conflict Resolution from the University of Utah.
Alex Yrungaray, Youth Program Coordinator
Alex earned a B.A. degree in psychology from BYU and completed mediation training from Susan Bradshaw. She is a Utah Court-qualified mediator and is passionate about working with youth, having taught mediation, conflict resolution, and restorative practices for children and youth attending a Salt Lake City area charter school. Alex joins UDR as our Youth Program Coordinator.
